How to save sampling data even after turning off the V series
Select [SRAM] or [CF Card] for the storage location of sampling data.
 With [SRAM] selected, backup power is supplied from the battery attached to the MONITOUCH when the power is OFF.
V8 series
- Select [System Setting] → [Buffering Area Setting], and select [Type: SRAM] for the primary storage target or [Output Media: CF Card] for the secondary storage target.
When [Type: SRAM] is set, install the supplied battery to the MONITOUCH.  - Transfer the screen data.
 - "Error : 163 (24 : 0)" or "161 (24 : 0)" is displayed.
When [Type: SRAM] is set for the primary storage target, the SRAM must be formatted on the V series.
Bring up the Main Menu screen on the V8 series, and press [Main Menu] → [SRAM/Clock] → [Format] → [Execute].

V7 series
 Select [System Setting] → [Buffering Area Setting], and select [SRAM] or [CF Card] for [Store Target].
 When [Store Target: SRAM] is set, the SRAM must be formatted. Follow steps (1) to (4).

When [Store Target: SRAM] is set, install the supplied battery to the MONITOUCH. | 
- Click [SRAM Setting] and specify a value greater than [Word Count] for [Set Word] of [Memory Card Emulation Area].
 - Select [Parts] → [Parts List] → [Memory Card] → [2D] or [3D] [#x FormatSwitch], place it on the screen, and then transfer screen data.
 - "Data has some error 163 or 161" is displayed. Bring up the Main Menu screen on the V7 series, and press [SRAM/Clock] → [Format] → [Execute].
 - Press the card format switch placed in step 2.
